Year 5 visit Metrobank in Bromley

For three sessions, trained Staff from Metrobank came into Porpoise Class to introduce financial skills to do with banking, saving and budgeting.

For our fourth session we went to visit Metrobank in Bromley. Whilst there we were able to put our questions to real-life cashiers and get a clearer understanding of how a bank works. We visited the vault and saw safety deposit boxes. We also had a go at the Magic Money machine, estimating how much change we were putting in first. As we were leaving we met the bank’s mascot and were given a goody bag and Certificate.
