Welcome to all our new Nursery children - and welcome back to a few old ones!

Owls drumming to the rhythm

The children were introduced to African musical instruments at the Horniman Museum. They then used the Djembe drums at school to work in groups to create a rhythm for a happy occasion or a sad occasion, considering the pace and the high and low notes they could use.
