Year 5 Trip to Tate Britain

Year 5 have been looking at Van Gogh this term as part of their art lessons. They focused on the paintings ‘Starry Night’ and ‘The sunflowers’. They  looked at the techniques that Van Gogh used in his work, and had a go at painting in the same style. They  also found out about the life of Van Gogh and how it influenced his work. A trip to the Tate Britain and a visit to the Van Gogh exhibition there was an exciting end to the topic. Seeing the woks in real life was amazing.
